Our library district maintains four branches throughout Pend Oreille County in the communities of Newport, Calispel Valley, Ione, and Metaline Falls. Each location has a variety of materials for check-out and hosts a multitude of events and community oriented programs. We strive to be the best possible rural library system by providing information in an environment conducive to thinking, learning, and personal development. Our Newport Branch hours are Monday 10AM-6PM, Tuesday 10AM-8PM, Wednesday 1PM-6PM, Thursday 10AM-8PM, Friday 10AM-5PM, Saturday 10AM-3PM, and Sunday Closed.
