Empowering Young Minds, Building Our Future

NextGen Network Connects Students with Local Businesses

The Greater Newport Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with NEW Health, is proud to announce the launch of the NextGen Network program. This innovative initiative aims to bridge the gap between local businesses and high school students in our rural communities.

What is NextGen Network?

NextGen Network is a program designed to connect ambitious students with established businesses and local leaders, providing students with:

  •  Mentorship: Local professionals offering guidance, advice, and career support.
  • Exposure: Real-life experience through job shadowing and internship opportunities.
  • Networking: Building connections within the local business community

Why is NextGen Network Important?

We believe students shouldn’t have to leave their hometown to pursue fulfilling careers. NextGen Network bridges this gap by:

  • Connecting Students: Providing real-world experiences and career guidance.
  • Building a Local Workforce: Empowering students to discover career opportunities within the Pend Oreille region.
  • Investing in the Future: Developing the next generation of leaders within our community.
